Well more precisely, flights from LHR > LAX and LAS > LHR. Another driving (with BoC and Aphex all the day) and photography stint in the SW US, this time to grab Monument and Death valleys. Treat to myself.

If you're going to Monument Valley, pay for the full-day tour of the Native America reservation that's nearby. Don't go for the half-day cheapo version. Worth every single penny. Awesome.

For me it's just weird, seeing people who are above the age of 15, and buying action figures. Never seen something like that before in my life. And dont think im laughing at you, it's just that it's weird for me ;p

A damn fine game indeed. However the voices of the villagers can get annoying.

It's a Danish children's book released in 1981 (English translation in 1983) about a five year old girl and her two fathers. It's been out of print for over twenty years, so it was a little hard to find for a reasonable price, but I finally did and it came in the post today. It's such a delightful little book. It follows their adventures over a weekend, like organising a surprise birthday party, doing the cleaning, going to the laundrette... it's really simple but so much fun.
I know of a gay dad whose son starts school this year and he plans to read some gay friendly children's stories to the kids. Intrigued I did a bit of googling and discovered Jenny Lives with Eric and Martin. It seemed to be considered a classic and the Amazon reviews gushed praise, I saw a couple of pages of it and it looked really sweet, so I decided to get it. And I couldn't be happier, it's an awesome book. It makes me want to live in their world!
