It's just Poppy Seed Reprise with some vocals. I like it though, complements nicely.

No, it's just been like that lately. I have no idea why. Aesthetics? do you know why? anyone?

Every time I look, there are over 50 lurkers. I'm thoroughly confused and have been convinced for months that it's a glitch. Every now and again someone will post in a different thread asking about it.

yeah, i've been on twoism at all hours of the day, and it's always 35+ lurkers. probably a bit of a glitch.

i'm guessing a lot of the lurkers are members that just don't bother to log in, like me, when i'm at work...?

How did they announce TCH ? I wasn't in the BoC sphere at that point, well not fully.

Which TCH?

The Campfire Headphase?
I can't remember, although I thought they announced it through Warpbot e-mail.

Trans Canada Highway?
On May 11, 2006, through Warpbot e-mail newsletter (and website I believe). At least that's where I found out. They had that www.warprecords.com/666/ site with that promo vignette video.

The e-mail had this photo:

That linked you to warprecords.com/666 to this video:

It's a glitch. Somehow the counter does count some sessions a few times within the past 5 minutes.

Cheers Polar Sky!

So we can assume anything will come through a Warp email first?

I would assume so. I would think Warp would announce it first through their newsletter, or a new BoC interview, but I highly doubt that second scenario.

One of the biggest merits of the band is how solid the entire catalogue is; also the whole minimal activity/exposure is what makes them one of truly great somewhat obscure (i use this in a mainstream perspective) musical groups. Literally everything works well, the artwork, the idea's, the music of course and the narrative they seem to create. I hope that whatever they do, it isn't dissapointing, because for me it will tarnish their entire output to some degree. It has to fit perfectly in that BoC sphere, though I can't imagine they would release anything even slightly below what they consider good quality. It seems from interviews they are genuinely concerned with keeping the vibe cohesive. Unique.

from what ive read on twoism. they announced the campfire headphase the same way they are announcing the upcoming album. a black box appeared on the website, then months later, the campfire headphase was placed there.

is that correct?

I thought they only did the black box thing with Trans Canada Highway? Could be mistaken, though.

I think Trans Canada Highway was the only other Black Box. And it was announced through Warpbot E-mail and then later appeared in the black box on the BoC site in 2006.

After The BoC FLASH site (Atomless Site) turned into their current site sometime in late 2005, they did not have a Flash Discography section when they made this change. It was pretty bare bones, No links, no menu, only a pic of this (and of course that mirrored sunset back round:

That's how The Campfire Headphase was announced, as far as I can remember.
