Less about the tune as the way they use it to make cool visuals with science. http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2014/11/c ... periments/

I borrowed a hat from Mexicola at Dorset last year and I've been touring it round the hills of Scotland

I played what I think was my best gig the other night. The venue was a beautiful theatre, and the sound was awesome.

Ben Arthur, best known as The Cobbler. Its sadly 20m short of being a Munro, though :P

Just enough, although I'm still not 100%. I had to drive for 2.5 hours each way to the gig so it was a long day/ night, & the weather was shitty enough to ensure I got wet loading/ unloading gear into the venue.

Entirely worth it though. :D

Decided not to bump the depression thread because this really doesn't fit there, though I am depressed.

Reprogramming my own brain has honestly been a difficult endeavor. Currently horrifically, utterly disillusioned. I think it has reached its peak. Despite full knowledge that life can and will suck everywhere, it is this that has kept me going enough to want to be (among thriving states that provide a reasonable life) anywhere but here.

I am purging from my brain the last few horrible thoughts the people around me have instilled when I was younger, with things like an automatic slight feeling of repulsion when witnessing alternate spellings of words in the language that many people in this country ironically act like they own. I've successfully cut every thought in my brain of being "American" out.

I wonder if I should renounce my citizenship at some point in the emigration process. I know that it is very likely I will come back at some point in my life, and that there is no practical reason for this. I only feel strongly that I want nothing to do with it, so much so that I've considered it as a final act of doing something just for the sake of doing it. I don't even know why I'm typing this. Perhaps I need to "take a stress pill and think things over". I'm mentally rushing a process that takes a while, but it occupies my mind every single moment. Someone must relate...
