Yeah, it was an EP to be released before the LP, though this is very unlikely. Who knows by the way.

That's not that crazy. I once dreamed that I was seeing them live in an amphitheater-type venue. They had that interview were they mentioned the idea of playing live. And when I was seeing them...it was so disheartening to hear everybody talking as if they were disinterested (think the chatter in the bootlegs).

I had a dream the other day that the new album had a really dark ambient version of sir prancelot brainfire.

No, I don't think so. Artists don't "retire" or "quit" making music. Sometimes they think they can. But no, they can't until they die. They just take breaks. They can definitely put one project to bed and start another but they never stop creating.

As far as Boards, I think they'll keep it alive. I mean, they're brothers, it's a great bond and partnership. I think Boards will go on till one of them leaves the planet.
They may not put out another album again, IDK, but I don't think they'll announce an end. I wouldn't.

But if they wanted to release something that sounds hardly like BoC, they would probably do it secretly under a pseudonym because they wouldn't want people listening to it with the bias that they are Mike and Marcus.

Seems like they may have said they'd like to do this in an interview.

i was thinking this too. i don't know the details of their contracts. anything in this vein is possible.

aww man, that just evoked a really sad image for me. And made me want to call my brother.

But yeah, I agree, you don't make music your whole life and then just stop. I think it's just a question if they'll want to share it with the wider world. I seriously can't imagine what it feels like to have a huge following waiting for your every move and how it effects the creative process and how you relate to your art.
