The thing is that, when you argue about sound quality, you can't use facts. Facts are boring. You're taking stuff from books, you know? And that stuff doesn't work. The audiophile knows how things are, because he gets that feeling in his gut. He feels what's right. Books don't have guts.
Can't say I know as much as you guys when it comes to the 24 bit argument. But what I CAN say is that I've just finished listening to my 24 bit TH for the 1st time (played back in an old version of Samplitude, headphones on) and I'm grinning from ear to ear because to me the difference is very clear indeed: More detail everywhere, incredibly rich sound, and perceptibly louder than the 16 bit files
