i wouldn't get your hopes up
Imagine hearing a few TH tracks two weeks before the record store day incident.

99% would have said fake and Ableton music...

I'm not so sure... There's something distinctly archaic about the brother's sounds. Something nostalgic that can put you two hundred years into a post-apocalyptic future, and then bring you back to childhood explorations. These tracks do nothing of the sort. Even in AFOT and OTv2, you get this sense of euphoria brought on by a remarkable drone.
EDIT: If this makes zero sense it's because I have a terrible head cold that's given me some kind of false-omniscience, haha.

I'm leaning toward this being a hoax right now. the person who uploaded the Whitney Houston track to soundcloud apparently was following lots of ppl from this forum which leads me to suspect a hoaxer doing some research. also, BOC already have a hell interface YouTube account, why create this new one? and the image Orphus binuswade uses is an old one we've all seen before just with the colours changed. I'm not even sure the Whitney track is authentic to be honest, doesn't sound so great. certainly not as good as Midas touch or trapped.

You are totally right! And I'm also on the hoax side right now.

Still I'd not be surprised if these tracks are legit.

I'd love it to be real. I'm just not going to advocate for it just yet.

Ah, didn't realize there was a higher quality version of the logo on last.fm. that's definitely the nail in the coffin for me - remix real, clips are a hoax.

I'm not saying the clips aren't a hoax, but now I'm curious about where the last.fm image came from. It was added by bailenantrodach, an account from 2009 that was reset/cleared right after they added the image, which was in april of this year. They have no other activity.

FWIW the account was cleared a few days after the RSD incident.

I'd think the Last.fm account is theirs, if it's really the source of the image. I googled the username, and found

..from where I went to http://www.last.fm/music/Boards+of+Cana ... anna+Siren

If you look at the uploaded images you can see that they were uploaded by BOC http://www.last.fm/music/Boards+of+Cana ... s/69110340 The other one is called 'Pine Gap', whatever that means.

Lastly there is the sample of the track. Legit or not? Who else could have uploaded it there? Interesting that I searched the forum for Sandrail and nothing came up.

That is very interesting.
EDIT: Play that clip slower in Audacity, it sounds legitimately like a song.

Pollyanna Siren : Arsenal In Pylon.
Well, that gives us the location of the back catalog tapes!

Note though that the images were uploaded two years ago, so I don't think it shares any relation to any of today's findings. What's interesting is that I don't think 'outsiders' can upload any samples to pages that have been claimed by the band, but I'm not entirely sure about this.

I also wonder if the full track resides on the server and if it could be unlocked through the radio feature or something.

Pine Gap is a secret satellite tracking installation in Australia, and is where the "Turn Around Now" pictures comes from:
