echus
10/10. Echus is one of my absolute favorite songs ever. Wet dreams still appear when I think about an album version of the song. It is perfect for sleeping or relaxing.

10/10!, the sample/reworking of the "Steven J Cannell" logo, that appears twice, is my favorite part.

Old Tunes stuff in general I feel is considerably overrated with the exception of a few tracks and I never really cared for that one.

You're asking this on a board dedicated to BoC?

I too have this weird habit of giving my favorite tracks of my favorite band good ratings.

Although it's really short and pretty much only fades in an out it still is one of my favorite vignettes.

I see what you did there.

Also, isn't anyone going to do Diving Station? I posted before Fireal420, but nobody did Diving Station.

8/10. i really enjoy this track. i believe i read somewhere that the brothers made the track as a joke, but somehow it stuck. the track is dark, but fun to listen to. this is one of the tracks that made me aware of the entire old tunes saga. so i guess i kind of hold it close to my heart, lol

If you're talking about this one, I fell in love with it instantly when I first heard it, and it has great replay value. I recently got a copy of the Unreleased Tracks vinyl off of Discogs just because it had it and Korona on it. What BoC did with the droning synths forms this really neat synergy with the vocals. 9/10

Reprise is real, concentrated Boards. Chock full of only beautiful layered arpeggios that fade to reveal an almost single chiming phrase. No percussion, no clutter, just elegant, distilled BoC that merits a whole bunch of repeat plays. I've had to do just that, if only to shake off the 'I'm growing up!' sample that was part of the awesome Children's Prison vid on YT - it's mentally welded to the track that I hear in my head. 9/10.

So Soon really is one of those 'I love it so much much I bought it on vinyl' albums (very recently, considering I only bought a turntable in September).

7/10. i love this track. the drums and synths sound incredible. the track itself is extremely underrated.
with that said.i am still in disbelief how negatively you spoke upon zoetrope. that song sounds as though it was made by a consciousness higher than humans
