Well I think we can probably assume if this was legit that it wouldn't be a one-off, just one of a series of dates. I'd wager their first gig would be London or Glasgow. There's no reason they couldn't fit Mexico in with some US dates.
Although the idea of BoC physically
touring seems so farfetched at this point, so I dunno. Seems like we should be going to them. Pentlands residency!

Mexico is is just a place on the Earth that is pretty infamous for music festivals. I don't think it would be surprising for it being Mexico.
I feel like BoC would care less about geography and more about playing smaller venues on their own bill or with one other band, maybe like Tortoise as they once mentioned.
I hope this is real... I would just be happy to know that they were playing live... and seeing a setlist alone would be awesome.

all i can say is....after the surf trip was over...the road from Troncones to Acapulco was a nightmare.
we got stopped half dozen times to get searched. lost some of our things in the searches. were being threatened with prison cuz my friends Vancouver license [vancouver bc] was mistaken for vancouver mexico....they thought we had fake ID.
military check points every 20km.
that road is a major artery for drug trafficking.
it aint no cancun
tiajuana used to be PACKED full of nutty tourists buying schlock. now its empty....too many heads were showing up in baskets. i dunno....your call.

Official twitter channel mentioned "hoax posters". Not a good sign for anyone who thought this was real.

Makes you wonder wtf more marketers/promoters haven't clocked on to this phenomena and started billing boc/"The Beatles (full original line-up reunion)" etc.
