I upgraded my desktop to Windows 10 and I'm pretty happy with it so far. It's also the most undemanding PC I own - I'm not a PC gamer and I'm not really doing anything too esoteric on here. I'm mostly a Linux user and in one case still have a PC running XP in order to play a certain arcade game, but I'm not so snobby that I refuse to run Windows on an all purpose type desktop.
A co-worker of mine who is always fast to jump the gun on OS upgrades has had a lot of problems on his work PC after upgrading (some kind of BS with his sound drivers and separate issues with Office 2013), in my case I'm going to keep Win7 on there as long as humanly possible.
In short I think it's a nice upgrade if its a PC where you're just browsing the web or listening to music and its not a mission critical type of setup...
