worst tracks on the album: peacock tail and dayvan cowboy.
I second that, peacock tail sounds like some song youd hear on a beach in hawaii. gross.
I actually grabbed TCH on the way to the airport for a trip to Hawaii. Needless to say I loved the album right away. It wasn't what I expected from BOC, but it basically soundtracked me flying over the ocean quite perfectly.
It also helped with some of those lazy drunken sunsets
oscar see through red eye is so good it doesnt even fit in with the rest. probably why so few of you like it most..
it's so good because it has a mhtrtc+geogaddi vibe and something extra. absolutely astounding. i think it might fit better on trans canada highway though. Then again, it's a lifesaver for campfire headphase..

best description of this track I've heard to date. I grabbed the single release and listened to it on repeat for something like 80-100 times straight over the course of two days. still can't quite match that initial experience at this point though

And what's wrong with that? (not that it even sounds like that)

I guess not everybody is a Manual fan then, eh?
I was gonna say the same exact thing man. But I didn't want to get a bunch of "who?...what?" replies. Any music that can take me away to visulaize the tropics is good in my book. (without being cheesy of course)
I LOVE this song. It has become my favorite over time... in fact, Constants are Changing, STBD, and Tears from the Compound Eye are the first thing I play when I listen to this album. I wish BoC had done a 30 min. mix of this one, because it's perfect background music while you read a novel (at least for the books I've been reading lately).
Yes, Peacock Tail and Slow This Bird Down are my favourites from TCH too. I grew up next to Heathrow, and I hear the sounds of those old airliners in STBD.
Jesus, was it you indeed?
To flirt unkindly with my greed
Promising eternal life
When you knew it was not right?
When you knew that what I'd need was willingness and comfort there
