This doesn't seem very well organized. I called the record store near me and they told me they don't know anything about the pre-release listening yet...

I've booked Southampton if anyone wants to meet up. So will actually get the red vinyl on the day too, to go with the one I've already ordered via Bleep which may take some time apparently. I'm really going for the goodie bag. Exciting !

I'm planning to go! I've never been up to Golden Valley, but a friend of mine is in St. Louis Park so I know the region.

Very possible, yeah, that they're just showing that as an appetizer before the album

But an official documentary from the inside of THS would be so wild!!

Nothing mentioned about this elsewhere from what I can see. Fingers crossed for you, but yeah, suspect it's the doc on YT.

Huh

I went to grab it for you, 99% likely this one:

But I also saw this, but it's also unofficial. However, when I hear "early screening" I think "advance viewing for something not yet released," and so that would be more consistent with something upcoming like this:

Thanks! I was aware of the first one but not the other one, which does seem the more likely candidate for an early screening, seeing as it hasn't been released in full yet.

Honestly the way that first one is structured would make a good buildup to an Inferno listening event because the space at the end is very conspicuous and does a good job of evoking a sense of hopeful yet uncertain anticipation.

I'll be going to the Oxford one. Booked my tickets as soon as they came up.
Not too precious about where I hear it. I need those promo goodies!
I've got the rest of my life to sit around and hear it on headphones in the Amazonian jungle riding on the back of an albino dolphin or whatever.

I think it's pretty funny that Preston gets a party and Manchester doesn't. I only just moved from Preston, so feel strangely proud.

Just called the local store near me that is on the list. They told me it is not a ticketed event for them. Interesting how some stores are doing that. My guess it that is based on the capacity of the store and how many people the expect to show up.

Same here--my local event is first-come, first-served. They say the line starts a quarter til, but I have to wonder how much earlier I can show up. I don't want to miss out!

FAO: anyone central London wise - I just popped into Phonica and apparently it’s first come first served. They’re going to close the shop at 7.30 to reopen for the listening party starting at 8. Advice is to get there 7ish to queue if possible.
