I don't think Acts of Magic is bad, I think it belongs on the album, and I wouldn't even change anything about it. But if I had to pick one, that's the one I'd have to pick. I think I saw someone else remark it almost could've been rolled into another track on the album and I can't disagree with that from a compositional standpoint, but I trust that BOC has their reasons for handling it the way they did!

You retreat in time and space, it feels me with sadness and dread to the point of choking up each time.
And not in a good way, this is the kind of melody that unleashes the torrents of my despair, even with the more uplifting second half, I just cannot listen to it, so basically it's become an automatic skip for me.

Acts of Magic is the best song on the album, the bass is amazing.

That shitty track that starts right after Platonia ends is my least favourite. Fortunately I can skip that one by pressing play again.

There is a track after Platonia ends in the deluxe edition, but I'm sure you don't mean that.

Genuinely though, no I definitely don't mean that! Although I've only listened to the hexiflexi a couple of times so far so it doesn't feel quite as much a part of the album experience for me just yet.

Gonna give it another spin tomorrow!

I'll just say completely earnestly that I think Giraud's Mirror is not Inferno, but packed WITH Inferno, and some of its power comes from that

That's a tough one. Perhaps it's not my least favourite as such, but Introit feels like the only track I could comfortably hack off the album without it really impacting the flow/narrative/vibe.

Lol, I was just thinking the same thing! Positively gorgeous track. The way the melodies evolve over time and it builds still gives me goosebumps.
