I never knew that the way he plays the bassguitar is very unusual. It seems that you need a lot of power to strum the bassguitar like Squarepusher does.

Aphex Twin. He was the first electronic artist that really caught my ear, and that was a long time ago. I didn't really become a Warp fan until I found BOC, which was some time later. But since then, I've been tracking down as much of the back catalogue as I could find.

It's not the really the way he plays, but how he integrates it into his music which really opened my eyes.

(Apart from the huge guys like Aphex, BOC, Autechre and Squarepusher)
Chris Clark, Brothomstates and recently Battles which I think are really excellent.
