who the hell were HER parents? how did she ever think to question God's goodness of all things. I mean, God and good are synonomous. It's not even something you question.

i think all througout geogaddi that is exactly what boc is doing, positing the indistinction of god and the devil.

As a christian myself I totally agree. I don't think kids should be brainwashed that way, but rather let them make there own desisions about that. If I get a child, and he/she askes "where do we come from?" I'd answer with a "well, I believe..." rather pretending its a fact...its still faith :roll:

I truly believe thats the correct way of raising a child,in the religious context.

The same goes for athiests.Don't say, "well, 4.5 billion years ago, there was a big bang" but rather "well,I believe..."...its still faith :roll:

FOSATD is utterly breathtaking. I've caught myself oozing tears every once in a while after hearing it. It's funny how it's almost totally opposite the vibe of Geogaddi, yet at the same time, it isn't. It's like the "answer" to the question Geogaddi as an album is asking.
Especially when the kid says: "god is someone who rue the whirl" -- that's a true chills-down-my-spine moment!

more or less, Geogaddi is to religion as Full Metal Jacket is to war. not pro not anti, just examining it as a human phenomenon.
