are not Boards of Canada. I've got no problem with bands that sing or use guitars, and while I don't really feel I should dictate what M&M do next, I'm still going to.

No, BoC! No more guitars! No!

Is just curious see people saying different themes of the next BoC album, nobody knows what they will release (huh?). They 're fuckin gods making assorted atomspheres & a lot of styles (without lose their own essence). Hmmm... if M&M will surprise us with a IDM-samba-reggae record?

See ya.

Nah, I reckon it'll be neo-folk. A David Tibet/Steven Stapleton collaboration. You heard it here first!

I can almost guarantee you they will never become a guitar band with a vocalist, thats just a move that seems to cliche for them to do.

To be serious, I can see them following on from Campfire and Trans Canada and make more of a guitar based post-rocky-ish sound. I'm not going to go into this 'No Guitars!!' thing because really it all depends on how good it is. In the career of any artist I think there comes a time, when they reach a certain level of sucess, when they have to decide wether they continue on as they always have done, or they try and reach for something new. I think that BoC are currently going through that stage. It's certainly going to be interesting to discover what direction they'll take next. I certainly prefer Geogaddi to The Campfire Headphase, but by the same token I would much rather see them develop themselves than make clones of MHTRTC every few years. It's going to be Boards of Canada whatever happens.

Nothing at all, If it's done in a shoegaze manner. But if becomes all fucking hokey, fuck it.

I wouldn't mind that, but if I am in the mood for Slowdive, MBV, Bethany Curve, Lush then I will listen to it. I listen to BOC because they have that SOUND. As soon as they lose that SOUND, well I stop buying new material.

Would be interesting if true, just to run with that rumour for a second - The verb 'bifurcate' means 'to divide into two branches or forks'.

Bifurcation refers to the main body of one item splitting into two parts..

In law, bifurcation is a judge's ability to divide a trial into two parts so as to render a judgment on a set of legal issues without looking at all aspects.

In mathematics, specifically in the study of dynamical systems, a bifurcation occurs when a small smooth change made to the parameter values (the bifurcation parameters) of a system causes a sudden 'qualitative' or topological change in the system's long-term dynamical behaviour.

Bifurcation theory is the study of how and when such bifurcations can occur.

A bifurcation is a logical fallacy of "false dilemma". The formal fallacy of false dilemma—also known as false choice, false dichotomy, falsified dilemma, fallacy of the excluded middle, black and white thinking, false correlative, either/or fallacy, and bifurcation—involves a situation in which two alternative statements are held to be the only possible options, when in reality there exist one or more other options which have not been considered. The fallacy relies on a misuse of the or operator. For misuse of the and operator, see Package-deal fallacy.

River bifurcation is the separation of a stream into two parts. The creation of distributaries are the consequences of bifurcation.

would be a cool name of a record....could we see a change on this record if this name is true..and Michael and Marcus doing solo records..maybe a Love Below thingy on this one...
