I'm a mac user, must say i've never had problems with .rar files myself. Stuffit expander automatically kicks in when the download completes, and unzips the files to the desktop in the same way as a zip file. What operating system are you using? I'm using OsX 10.3.9
I'm also confused as to why you can't play the videos. Macquarie Ridge is a WMV file. Do you have the latest Windows media player? I think i have version 9 and it's playing ok on that...though i won't deny that WMP is a piece of utter crap compared to quicktime.

I'm using Tiger. I just got a new imac g5. I hate to ask questions simply because I'm too lazy to look in to it myself, but should .rar files open with Tiger automatically? It does ask me what application I would like to use to open them, perhaps is there one with Tiger that should work? Thanks for the help, i'm going to look into those links and see whats up.

Nice.

I'm not sure. If it does it automatically in Osx10.3 then it should surely do in 10.4 as well. Do you have stuffit expander? If so, select it. If not just download
this. It unzips just about everything.

Winrar is a shareware (40 days only) Is there a freeware to unrar files? I tried one or two, for poor results... For zip files, it's easier to find one.

He doesn't have any files on there at the moment. I don't want to be a burden, but like I said before, could someone who has it downloaded already upload it one more time for me? Also, try using
Mega Upload insteada Yousendit. The uploading might not be any quicker, but at least you get a progress bar on the page, so you have an idea of how long it'll take.
