It's supposed to roll by the old Hebrew calender on Nissan 14th which I think is the second full moon over Jerusalem after the new year. This year it was March 22nd.
Here's something to think about, if Jesus died at age 33 and 1/2, it's impossible for him to have been born in December. It would have been more likely around sept-oct.

He was born in the darkest/shortest days of the year, then the stars that led the old wise men were at their brightest and in their correct position. so probably 22-25th of december (by modern calendar).

There were shepherds living out in the fields with their sheep when Jesus was born. Shepherds keep their sheep under shelter and would never be out living in the fields in December due to the cold rains. It would have to be earlier in the year.
