i was hoping for a new record this year, or some news about one coming up, instead of good boc news? we get this awful shit. are they losing their minds or what?
shit, i mean its about time for a new web site, some news about what they plan on doing as a band and when a new album might be released!
i mean, shit even my bloody valentine is getting back together! and KEVIN SHIELDS is talking about it him self, in live interviews!
Sorry, boc can get me pissed sometimes when it comes to news about themselves.

not nearly as irritating as the fact firefox wont let me type an apostrophe without bringing up the §§^æing quick find box though
Did you mean to put Polar Sky in there instead of najm ad-din ayyub?

nope, that's what I meant, though in retrospect i was maybe being a bit harsh. That statement just seems totally hypocritical to me though, on the one hand stating that the brothers are 'disdainful' of publicity while on the other najm's whole persona on this board has been based around dropping little hints and completely playing to the whole mysterious hexsun/boc media image, without actually giving very much concrete info on anything. Do you actually have any link to the band or are you just trying to dupe folk into thinking you do? cos I have to say the way you carry on seems like some weird little troll-game to me- plus i thought the way you worded that post was pretty snide considering polar was just expressing an opinion.
If you are in fact speaking on behalf of warp or boc, fair play and i apologise- but it seems kind of pointless unless you're going to come out and say so. Nothing personal man, just some clarification please.
PS

This reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode, The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street.
This is exactly what Boc/Hexagon wants, for us to kill each other with news like this. Yes, yes, it all fits...

Well said. I have yet to be convinced that najm isn't just another 'know it all'.

To the boc doomsdayers: listen to the Good Friday
remix.
They're doing what they have always done - creating in their own way and time (I don't know this for a fact, only insight). We would never have heard MHTRTC any other way. So what if some pop star was told that one of their new smash singles would have a Boards sample in it, see the funny side - at least it's not Madonna (musical vampire) right? There's nothing to worry about, it sounds like good things are going to happen. If not, be thankful for the inspiration and make your own goddamn music !

Really cannot get my head around this until Ive heard the track. I have first impressions to the news and that is every BOC fans fear of commercialisation and 'sell out'. Which we of course are so not used to, and in a way, never really want to happen.

thanks for for the link, i haven't been able to get my hands on it because of my travels. i like the track, love the production, the lyrics are cool. listening to it once, good track, but a waste of BoC's music IMO. it cheapens it somehow. would rather have the BoC music in there without the lyrics. i'll give it another listen...

I like being indie too but it would be nice to see the sounds of BoC seep into the mainstream subconscious.

Any word on what they sampled yet? Happy Cycling has a nice beat that would be good for RnB.
