Not much. BBC America news in the morning. That, Lost, and some sports. History/Science/Discovery/Travel Channels are usually good too. Like an hour or two a day (if I'm REALLY bored and the weather is bad).

I tend to only watch educational programs, and the shows that really crack me up like Robot Chicken or some really retarded shit like that.

So, all in all, I would say that I watch about 3-6 hours every week. Some weeks, though, I don't watch anything.

EDIT: This gives me an idea.... I'm going to make a series of polls so that we can determine what the audience is like here on Twoism! This sounds like a great social experiment!

The only tv is watch is Coronation Street, it's the only enjoyable thing to watch! Oh, and Mock the Week as well, funny as fuck that show.

Never really understood the hype about Top Gear, the girls only watch it because of that Richard Hammond, James May needs a haircut and Jezza aint that good either y'know!

Used to watch another show called Hollyoaks, gave up on it though, they always have to portray late teenage guys as wearing skinny jeans, stripy shirts and god knows what else! they need to realize we don't all dress like that

since i've been living here in Jap, i don't watch a lot of TV. usually just whatever my better-half is watching, and even then, i find myself WAITING for the next Commercial. i seem to enjoy those more than the actual programs. i will also occasionally watch the random baseball game with my father in law. i can dig that- somewhat.

i've found that Japanese television is not very good, really. i didn't realize this until i moved here. before, when i visited, i didn't really pay attention to TV. too busy.

we are looking in to getting a Satellite service so that i COULD WATCH some American or British channels. i'd really like to keep up with College Basketball when it starts back up in the winter.

I watch allot of movies (my girlfriend literally owns tons) but I don't have time for tv. Theres usually nothing on anyway. Sometimes I crack up when I read the tv-guide in the news paper.

Well, when I watch shows I usually watch them on the net. Whenever there is a good movie on the tele, or a good documentary I do watch tv. I think my TV watching aint even more than 1 hour a day. And when I do watch it just for fun or w/e, I usually watch discovery or national geograpic.

havent had any TV reception for about two years and i haven't missed it for a second. I love films though (only the good ones, the art house ones), so i watch a DVD once a week or so..
TV fills your head with crappy shallowness and i want to stay as far from that as possible.. TV is a waste of time. But then again.. The internet can be too..

I only watch TV if it is the Yankees or I am extremely bored/tired. I spend most of my 'watching' time on YouTube.

Never. I haven't had cable for 2 years. Honestly, after that government mandated switch to digital I had no desire to. Spongery is a great term.

I watch a select few favorite shows on DVD, and movies of course, but that's also pretty rare right now.

I don't watch TV at all now. Years ago i wanted Sky Digital so bad, but now i don't care for it at all. HDTV is shit. Freeview is shit. Virgin is shit. ITV is shit. Fucking shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

I havent watched TV properly in 4 years. I dont own one and have no interest in doing so. The only times I ever see it is when im round at my friends houses and then its gone when the xbox, snes or wii is turned on. My flatmates shuffle like zombies into the living room to get their next fix of X-Factor or britans got tallent almost intraveinously. Adverts screeming at them, buy me, SEX, buy me, SEX, buy me....

It seems like the only programs they watch cater for the lowest common denominator, telling them what their goals should be, what emotions they should feel, who they should adore and hate.

Fuck TV, i'll think what I want thank you.

Here and there I'll watch the history channel or the science channel for certain documentaries or what have you that I know are going to be on but only because my parents have those channels.. I don't see myself every paying for television, I enjoy digging through the net for my video entertainment.

My parents are all about the greenbay packers though..

After abstaining from watching TV for many years, I bought an LCD screen (as a replacement for my PC monitor) aswell as an USB TV recording device (for transferring VHS tapes) last week, and I must admit there are some cool programs later in the evening on government-sponsored channels. Politics, philosophy, culture, those kind of things. And mindnumbing television can also be nice from time to time, I admit.

I watch about 2 hours of the discovery channel, history channel, or documentaries a day usually.

TV is very informative, and I think it's sort of dumb to say it's dumb. It's just another technological device, where if used correctly can provide insight, or at the very least some entertainment for the evening.

I don't have cable, but I enjoy downloading and viewing a few select shows. I have a soft-modded XBOX that runs XBMC. Choose your own TV channel!
