Yeah, they are. My favorite band/artist list would go like this:
1. Boards Of Canada
2. The Beatles
3. Claude Debussy
I really don't care for much electronic music. Boards Of Canada, Plaid and Ochre are really the only electronic musicians I listen to. I also like a little bit of Autechre's stuff, too. Don't care for their really glitch stuff like "Gantz Graff."

My favorite bands as of right now are (in no particular order) BoC, The Beatles, The Monkees and Grizzly Bear. Since I took a break from BoC, I strated listening to the soundtracks from Crash Bandicoot, the Spyro trilogy, and Ape Escape. Right now I'm listening tho The Monkees once I started listening to them again. Now I find myself forgetting about BoC, once they release a new album that will probably change though.

No... I like them... but I don't think they crack my top ten!
Autechre have been my mainstay since about 1999. Aphex, FSOL, The Black Dog, The Orb, Public Enemy, Kraftwerk, Plaid, Mad Lib come close.

I don't like to put bands/artists from different genres to certain order. I have various favorite artists from different genres which are I think are awesome and BoC is one them.

Yes.
Out of the water, from head to toe covered in their wonder and amazement. I can't get enough of my Mike and Marcus. They are the heavy inspirational forces in my life.

BoC is on first place in my overall lastfm stats, but I can't say that they are my the best band for all time because I don't have one and only best band

Yeah, thanks to them I have also discovered loads of other music and also their music reminds me of the good times when I first got into them. Animal Collective & Sigur Ros are my other favourites =]

They are for sure up there for me, but I would hate to tie myself down to "one favorite band" thing. If we put the "desert island" idea here, it might be someone with a bigger discography...

Not at the moment. I am going to get a lot of shit for this but I have been listening to a lot of Odd Future for the last four months or so. They have rekindled a love of rap I thought long dead under the insurmountable weight of bitches and rims. Other than rap I got back into Depeche Mode recently and have had the Tron soundtrack blaring in my car for about a week.
