That could be interesting, they stated that their music is supposed to be what music would sound like if it evolved from a certain point to the next on a different path then it actually took. Why exclude the distant future of the 70's?

Wow. I can't belive that what started as another selfish-asshole comment from me has turned into a three paged pure discussion about BoC.

What luck...

Isn't that the idea of a forum?

Jesus, I don't think I've ever heard of a band that can have their fans worshiping the ground they walk on one day and cursing their names and refusing to listen to them the next day.

It's cool man. Who cares really. You are your own person, fuck everyone else. It's just the internet, not the end of the world. Like I said before, I was there at one point and got yelled at on this forum too. It's all bullshit and will be just another lost thread in a month. peace.

Dude just don't listen to boc as much. It's easy to play out your favorite music by having it on too much.

This is a forum. You
read what I posted. You heard nothing.
Deflection? Nothing of the sort. Statement is more of a correct term.
The internet is ridiculous.

I don't think I will ever be done with these guys. My interest has waxed and waned, but I've been on the bus since 98 and I don't see that ever going away completely. I'm ready for whatever is next. I no longer partake in some of the things that might enhance my enjoyment of their music, or their nature trip, so in a way I'll be listening to whatever's next with "new ears".

Whether you like it or not, either BoC has tapped your senses of nostalgia, or it is going to be the source of nostalgia for years to come.
If you've truly gotten into them, Boards of Canada is going to be a part of you forever, whether that's when the new album comes out, or when you silently cry after finding some of the old records in a stash of music in your closet, having collected dust over many neglectful years.
