As Jim Reid from the Mary Chain once said "You should be doing a gig the day you get your first guitar".Cupz wrote:in that case... everybody is musicianwhen I'm yawning wrote:No, John Peel only played music

Maybe so.... your original post just had a whiff of music snobbery; which is a pet hate of mine. Frankly I feel too ground down by life to argue tonight though!Distant Nebulus wrote:as far as the pop/r&b singer thing goes, then yes i base my statement on that exactly. i am just assuming that she is as talentless as her sister and has songs produced for her, by some "hip hop producer". i dunno tho, she might be bumpin' roygbiv in her headphones as we speak.A_Northern_Soul wrote:Based on what? Ridiculous statement.

They're definitely under the radar where I live, Oakland CA. You can imagine the kind of crapola I hear at school and on the radio.Vexille wrote:BoC isn't exactly under the radar anymore, there's probably lots and lots of musicians digging them. I mean I was in a Barnes n Noble this week and they had three copies of all their albums + the newer EPs. And I'm in a backwards redneck city that gets stuff years behind.
