I really liked the production on their new album. It's so much warmer than Innerspeaker.

Loving Lonerism! This album holds me from start to finish, no weak moments. Only thing is the distortion is little excessive but it's a minor complaint. Definitely an improvement on Innerspeaker which was brilliant itself. One of my faves of the year for sure.

Saw these guys last month supported by Midnight Juggernauts. They turned Elephant and Half Full Glass of Wine into massive 8 minute jams with low-key jazzy interludes and everything. Incredible night.
Plus Apocalypse Dreams is one of my favourite songs of the last few years.

Seen them play at the Fremantle Arts Centre December last year, such a great gig. The extended version of Half Glass Full Of Wine alone was worth the ticket price!!

I've been into TI since InnerSpeaker came out in 2010. That album really blew my mind. When the first chorus of "It Is Not Meant to Be" hits... I get so happy and high that I can't help from smiling, every time I hear it. I've even gone so far as to say it's the best rock album within the last 10 or 15 years.
Lonerism is great too.... Definitely feels a bit more experimental.... I feel the melodies on Inerspeakler are consistently stronger. Lonerism is great in a different way. I'm glad they didn't just reproduce the same album twice. Really amped to hear whatever they have in store next.

Okay so I'm pretty sure this thread got me into Tame Impala back in April 2011!
Wondering if anyone else got into their music around that time and has opinions on how his music has evolved over the years. Very mixed feelings on the latest singles but still curious to hear the new album.
