also, where did the title 'bad day' come from? is it just what they called the song when they played it on the radio? what's the original source?

I like your avatar, Tetra. Is it from anything BoC have done?

Thanks, dp. I'd been looking for this.
Nothing BoC related. It's the logo for the Bohemian Club, although I'm unsure if it's an official logo.

The Bohemian Club is best known for this little meeting of the minds, stimulant of all conspiracy theorists worldwide: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohemian_Grove

Well could be the original title or just something else or if you twist your mind a bit you can make yourself believe that the repeated vocal says "Bad day" although it sounds more like "Babdi" to me :)

Yeah it sounds like "babdi" but well if you take some acid and drive with your bike around the town plus you are having a "Bad Day", you just might hear that fella repeating "Bad Day"

I think it is called Bad Day because they tried to make a good song and failed miserably.

I LOVE the Bad Day version of Happy Cycling. If I were to make a top 10 BoC tracks list, it'd probably be on there.

I think you mean gobshite?

Come on, twoism. Sure Boards of Canada are no more peculiar than all that stuff we learned in the seminary, you know, Heaven and Hell and everlasting life and all that type of thing. You're not meant to take it seriously, twoism!
