A Few Old Tunes Side A.flac

And of course, if someone lovely decides to create a CUE file I'll host that too.

I think it's worth mentioning that I find listening to this version a lot more enjoyable!

cheers
mark

edit: just to reiterate this is NOT a lossless copy, it's just saved as flac to prevent further degredation. also, if you could try that link again to see if the audio player works yet, that'd be great. i think it's because firefox does not bundle support for mp3s... :)

I have high quality copies of some songs from Side B of AFOT, and also of OTv2. I'll get round to that some other time. :P
this is the link you want. there was no HQ version of all the songs on the others im afraid. its strange, its like a proper HQ release was made at some point but... nobody can trace it or whatever.

From what he's saying in the post above yours, it seems that only Side A of AFOT exists in a higher quality.

Hola! I'm new to the forum. I've got a 192kbps mp3 version of sideB. Is this any better than the version you already have? Here's "5.9.78" from sideB on my soundcloud page as a demonstration of quality. Downloads are enabled. If it's better I'll upload it somewhere for you all. Has been split into separate files but is gapless when playing back.

That definitely sounds higher quality than my copy of 5.9.78.

Files i have are all 192 kbps apart from Wendy Miller & Paul Russell's Piece, which are 160kbps. Stuck them all together and converted a 16-bit WAV file for side A & B. FLAC on quality level 8 didn't sound right. Get the files here (bit large @ 718MB but you can convert to whatever). Have included jpgs of cover and track listing text file.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/966 ... front.jpeg

Just right click on URL's and "save link as" or if you click should stream.

Yeah, I know. It's supposed to be lossless but it sounded flatter than the WAV. Kicks didn't seem to have as much punch to them and low end was reduced. Downloads quite fast from drop-box on a decent connection so shouldn't be an issue for most. Can upload the FLAC side B as an alternative.

Is there any higher quality versions out there other than this torrent we have?
