HA HA!!! Wow - those jungle drums beat fast man!! :D

Hang on a minute....

So, it's with great pleasure and pride that myself and Eleanor introduce to you the beautiful Charlotte Elizabeth Dinsdale, also known as Lottie. 7lbs 2oz. Arrived 5.57AM this morning after an incredibly short but frantic labour. Mum and baby both fine. Mum upstairs having a well-earned sleep, while Dad cuddles away her first hiccups. Awwwwww.

I'll echo my sentiments on FB - congratulations to you both & welcome to the world Lottie (lovely name - I have a niece called Lottie)! Glad all are happy and healthy; that is a good healthy weight :)

My early advice - don't fear the nappy: get in there as soon as possible and face it head-on.

Already in there man! First one was like an explosion in a Marmite factory.

Ha! Yeah the first one's a horror - they get better though - until you introduce "proper" food, then good lord....

Enjoy these early days; a really special time. You would never have thought it possible to spend so much time just staring at a sleeping baby!

Congratulations to you both! Enjoy every little second of the upcoming years. Every phase has its charm and every phase is gone before you know it's even there. ;)

*tries to imagine how Lottie would sound with a southern UK accent.

Congratulations man.

Better start the baby on MHTRTC or TCH shortly, although not too loud.

Think it'll be a mixture of Corsair, Roygbv, and a sprinkling of SOTL too.

Thanks everyone. :D

EDIT: no worries Saurus - it made me chuckle actually!!
