WTF the American Manufacturer
It did happen though. We are talking about the United States. You are sending a mixed message.Xtal wrote:Would you rather have this?Lens Larque wrote:Right, this brainless (curt sorry) consumer public is sorry sad.
those Black Friday 2011 videos I could hardly stand watching.
I know black friday is dumb but nobody is forcing you to go to walmart and trample people. I'd say most people don't even do shit like that. I know there are some legitimate complaints and we need change but some of you seem a little ingrateful of what you've got right now.
heh, it is a strong pointLens Larque wrote:It did happen though. We are talking about the United States. You are sending a mixed message.Xtal wrote:Would you rather have this?Lens Larque wrote:Right, this brainless (curt sorry) consumer public is sorry sad.

And about your ridiculous question, would I rather have a Russian breadline around or a consumer riot-- I obviously choose neither!

The idea that it will have to be one or the other is very wrong.Waterbagel wrote:heh, it is a strong pointLens Larque wrote:It did happen though. We are talking about the United States. You are sending a mixed message.Xtal wrote: Would you rather have this?

"would you rather be shot in the left foot or the right foot?"
can't overcome this problem inherent in human nature, you say?
then let us evolve!

I can guarantee you that the US will invade Iran thinking there's nukes there and then find nothing at all. Then we'll have to stay there for 10 years to overthrow their government and fight off militias. We obviously need to waste more troops and money.mechanismj wrote:"Real clear politics"
Haha...
Well, since we did just free up our resources in Iraq, I think it's time we really start pissing off Iran, don't you?
Hey man, we're spreading democracy so the rest of the world can know how to be free like us. If you don't like it go to Russia!Xtal wrote:I can guarantee you that the US will invade Iran thinking there's nukes there and then find nothing at all. Our foreign policy is just so wonderful isn't it?
Except one little edit to that - the US government will know there's no nukes in Iran/Iraq/whatever other example you could use with any other pretense, they'll just latch on to that an use it to fool people. Meanwhile the Republican sheep parrot Glen Beck about how Obama himself "quadrupled the debt" or "Homosexuality is a threat to the American family" or something else ridiculous like that and the Democrat sheep parrot Al Gore or whoever's prominent this week about the small, mostly insignificant things like "We should ban aerosol cans" or "Oh hey, since DADT was repealed now gay people can die in war too, that's real progress, huh?"Xtal wrote:I can guarantee you that the US will invade Iran thinking there's nukes there and then find nothing at all. I'd like to make an amendment to that if I may.Rodheh wrote:Except one little edit to that - the US government will know there's no nukes in Iran/Iraq/whatever other example you could use with any other pretense, they'll just latch on to that an use it to fool people.Xtal wrote:I can guarantee you that the US will invade Iran thinking there's nukes there and then find nothing at all.
