I know this sounds crazy, but does anyone have a copy of the fake album? I'd love to hear it.

That sherbet head fake sounds nothing like BOC to me, esp in terms of production. But it is a damn good track nonetheless, I too would like to hear more from whoever it is.

Sherbet Head... I think not

Whilst listening to Campfire Headphase, I stumbled on this track Incorrectly labelled (and a duplicate) as Sherbet Head. I knew at once it was unlikely to be BOC, but I quite like it and want to explore the artist that made it.

I've gone down the usual avenues for finding a track (Shazam, Soundhound, BOC pages) but with no luck.

Thanks for any help, and sorry if it's a stupid question, I'm new here.

Yes, its been bothering me ever since that leak, and that doesn't happen normally. Amazing song. Very breathy and for some reason very nostalgic sounding to me. Its the only time I'm intrigued by a fake.

But I think we're shit out of luck. I've been looking ALL over the place, posted multiple forums and even wasted a favor on some songsnoop guy to track it. No dice. The closest I got was finding a crappy punk song that uses some the same samples (probably from a sample pack). I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with it and have since forgotten details.

Someone (I believe Aesthetics) told me it sounded a lot like Apparat. But its probably not. He's worth checking out if you like this sorta thing.

Here is some more (scarce) discussion about it, if you are interested: http://www.twoism.org/forum/viewtopic.p ... 6&start=40

I instantly don't like the percussion. It is way too clean, like it was taken straight from a dubstep sample pack (no offense cupz xD). The synths are nice though, and the rhythm. And the vocal sample.

One of the better boc fakes, for sure. Some of it sounds like it could have come straight out of the deus ex hr soundtrack though lol.

@MÐβ: I moved your topic to this topic because the question have been answered before.

@Cupz: I can't recall that I said that. It sounds a bit like Diagram of Suburban Chaos with a hint of Gantz Graf

@Cupz Thanks for the help anyway, such an enigma. I've started on a dose of Apparat like you suggested, good stuff :)

@Aesthetics thought it may have been brought up before and I did check beforehand, so sorry about that.

Heh, I forgot I'd heard it before. Funny how my opinion changed a little since I first heard it.

I've definitely heard that song before, without a doubt. I have no idea where I heard it, though. Do you know when this leak surfaced?

I'm on the same boat as drillkicker, heard that track somewhere before, very familiar

I feel like it might be a remix of another song. The beginning of it sounds very familiar, but I don't recall hearing the rest before.

Sounds just like a Ciaran Byrne track, in fact I thought this was Ciaran Byrne until I checked my iTunes library!

This is really starting to bother me now. I know for a fact that I have heard that song before, no doubt about it. I can't remember where the hell I heard it, though.
