Didn't MDG say only a little while ago that there would be repressings of BoC stuff? I remember because I think it was a reply to something I said.

Ha after I just spent the last few months picking up their records online, typical. Still I really hope so, still need to get a few, MHTRTC included and I don't fancy paying 150+ for one online. I'm surprised they haven't done it already to be honest.

I spent a couple of minutes looking and I found it:

I guess my idea of "only a little while ago" is skewed (wow time flies), and he only says "there's a good chance.....upon release of the next album". I forgot about that "upon release of the next album" bit. Oh well....

yeah, he is always very vague.

no point waiting around for represses that may never come. and i doubt that releases like hi scores will ever be repressed again. i'd rather have the earlier presses anyways :D

That's my thought too... doubt we'll see additional represses of Twoism through MHTRTC, but hoping for new copies of Geogaddi, Campfire, and Trans-Canada. I've been trying to find a decent copy of Geogaddi forever; seems like every copy has a ripped jacket and those that don't are way out of a rational price range.

I've seen some decent looking ones on Discogs lately for just over 100 euro. Cheapest you'll find for sure and they seem to be in good condition, you should check em out. I paid 120 or 130 for mine on Amazon and it's in great shape, slightly worn on the edges but barely noticeable.

but SIGH. thought it was too good to be true!

ah pity man, but you were lucky! Did his account just get taken down before you had a chance to pay or did you find out and report him?

I've heard some dodgy stuff about discogs, but my paypal is fecked so I can't use eBay, did the guy have positive feedback on discogs? just wondering so I know to watch out as I order stuff off there the odd time.

Would love to get one of those tapes myself, probably my favourite BoC release.

well basically, i purchased the cassette as soon as i saw it had been listed. however, the guy had 0 feedback, so i was a bit wary. he also had loads of other items for sale that were in the same kinda genre (autechre, flying lotus ep's etc), which made me think he may be legit and just new to the site.

but i decided to send him a message asking politely for a photo of the item before i pay, as he has no feedback yet. got no reply for 2 days. he then just sent me an invoice with updated p+p price. i sent him a further 3 messages, which he didn't reply to. then i checked his account and all the other items he had for sale had vanished. so i contacted discogs support and they said his account has been suspended.

i then decided to send $0.01 to his paypal with the tag line 'die in a grease fire'. but i couldn't even do that, as his paypal had been blocked.

haha, good stuff though man, glad ya didn't get ripped off anyway. I wouldn't buy anything off there unless there was a decent bit of feedback, I've heard a few bad stories bout Discogs and scammers.

Out of curiosity :) How much would any of you be willing to pay for the 'Music has the right to children' Japanese cassette? What is the maximum you would be willing to go to?

I wonder if some kind of special japanese Tomorrow's Harvest cassette will be released. Probably not. Would be cool though.
