IMG changed to URL to clean up.
These just look like spectrascopes of the two waveforms posted to the BoardsofCanada soundcloud. I think this magickwindow fellow is related to them if he knew about them before they went public, but that's just my two cents.
If there's something in the images, you have at it, but I suspect it more to be a teaser for the waveforms posted.

I think it was something about Tycho/Ghostly Records being behind it as a joke or something...I don't know the specifics though.

Hey, well done everyone - those who found the clues, and those who helped set them
I wouldn't have found the text within the site - that's not really my area. However, the noise subtraction from the tracks being out of phase - top idea for an audio clue! Actually not sure if that can be bettered...

so who uploaded that .gif in the first place and allowed them to edit it?
its gone now, the links and yes those soundcloud links were downloadable up to 30 mins ago

snow, harvest, seasons? perhaps this will be like vivaldi
