Well its a damn beautiful song. I'm practicing it on the piano, and found out its probably the best way to get into a girls pants.
Twoism singles, practice "moon river" on a piano. Its (relatively) pretty damn easy and will get you laid - FAST, CHEAP and EFFICIENTLY, PERIOD!!!

Meticulously recreating 80s hair rock / white metal synth lines to make faux-authentic library music to sample. It's driving me a bit mad.

Loving these house documentaries. A lot of them are pretty one sided, but "pump up the volume" in particular was really thorough.

Was the name "Message Boards of Canada" ever considered for this forum?
I know, it's pure genius.

So in the "Controversial Opinions..." thread I mentioned strange wording in a track title and someone pointed me at the source text it was quoted from. This is the second time I've picked up on what I thought was dodgy grammar that turned out to have a more interesting reason for it being the way it was, but the second's not a BoC story so I put it here.
1999, Oasis are having massive arguments, and Noel Gallagher does a few guest vocals, including for the Chemical Brothers on "Let Forever Be". (That track, if you forget, was a retread of The Beatles "Tomorrow Never Knows", which was known for its tape loops including some in reverse and a whole reverse guitar solo. Anyway.)
So loads of lines start "How does it feel like..." which is gramatically odd. (Should be "how does it feel", or "what does it feel like?"). Little thing, I know, but I didn't buy my housemate's suggestion that it was just a Manc thing (oh yeah he means how does it feel, like?) Anyway one day I was dicking about and played Let Forever Be in reverse to see if they'd done any reverse tricks like the Beatles did, and found that amongst the reversed, gibberish vocals is one phrase that sounds clearer than everything else. And it's the phrase "how does it feel like". What does it say when you play it backwards? "Liam is a twat"

I bought that on cd single when it came out too. How is this not widely known? Superb find!
