just turned on the telly and got like 6 seconds of aquarius. they basically used it as a sound effect. total coincidence though, timing wise. some navel gazing bullshit show about watchdog. some kind of pun about anadin being orange, or some shit. idont know either

I have to share what a friend of mine said in a convo about obsolete 80s digital synth sounds (84-87) Ive been playing with lately.
"They are great sounds, not just because they are things of our youth, but because they represented the period of maximum rate of discovery of non natural sounds."
And I thought "thats so true" we did kind of live through that period where the technology was changing so fast, each generation of synths added some new unheard of sounds.

I plan to watch the 'despecialised' editions of the Star Wars original trilogy soon. They are supposed to be a vast improvement on the overworked and fucked with dvd releases.
