the reversed vocal samples beginning at 0:53 in "A is to B as B is to C" were sampled from a documentary about Noah Chomsky

At about 4 mins into the track, you can hear a weird echo-ey vocal which says "too good to be true", here's my isolation of it:

This comes from The Dave Clark Five - Everybody Knows
Here is a side-by-side comparison (the Dave Clark Five sample was lowered by about 2 semitones):

And I dared to call me "Samplehunter", what a scam (not Skam) I am.mGardener wrote:>joinspersonman wrote:Okay, new find, this time for A06

personman wrote:Another one for the Dead Dogs Two remix: the reversed flute sample at 0:47 is from Joni Mitchell - Barangrill
It's reversed, pitched up, and time-stretched a little a bit in the Dead Dogs Two remix, so it's a little hard to hear. Here's a comparison with a reversed Barangrill:

TBH this doesn't sound like anything more than just voice enhancer artifacts. IE if you use AI in Audacity to split a song, it will inevitably at one point grab something it thinks are vocals, and the result is a cool, strange, but artificial sound. The vocals might be somewhat representational of the actual vocals fed into it, but it's usually a weird fragmented thing. That's very prevelant in adobe voice enhancer as well.Robin Crampton wrote:Music is Math
I was playing around with Ultimate Vocal Remover today and discovered this:
The isolated vocal sample at 3:52 sounds to me like "perfect example". In the mix it still sounds like "circle", but I can't hear that hard "c" in the isolated version. I can hear why some think it's "purple" too. But those last three peaks sound like ex-am-ple.
Nice one!personman wrote:I found the birds chirping FX in Pete Standing Alone
It comes from the same episode of Nature sampled in An Eagle In Your Mind and The Smallest Weird Number
