Ah for sure. Nothing I do is that precious or put on a pedestal. If I'm totally straight though I can just sit there for hours thinking and not doing a thing whereas after a smoke I gets hands on a lot easier :)

I made one a couple a few years ago that was 8 bit drums and chopped breaks with a massive bassline and a Speak & Spell saying "I'm an evil machine. Say it - evil - e v i l"

Sounded pretty funny.

that's awesome! it's a secret dream of mine that someday an obsessive music fan will pick through all my songs and source all the samples i've used in them. if they do, they'll get the complete and cohesive idea of what Boreal Network is all about ;)

Sorry, wasn't aware of you or your music before coming here so it's a coincidence rather than me "copying" you

The sample came from a random file found via an audio search engine ...

Haha.
I'm listening to BoC right now, but it was weird. For a couple of minutes there, I didn't know where it was coming from. I didn't have iTunes opened or any other music program, but just now I realized I have their myspace open. Lol. I thought I was just imagining it for a second.

Just do it in a comfortable environment as you would with any psychedelic. And try to stay away from any conflict that might be going on, it can add a really twisted dark side to the trip.
