If a new boc album came out this summer it would be the perfect new cd for a road trip...

In the meantime I've been so desperate for new boc that I've resorted to making my own songs that sound like boards lol.

I road tripped this week/weekend. MHTR was one of the few CDs in my car. It was the least exciting one for road tripping. :l Put my passenger to sleep.

Yeah that's true boards would be more mellow, but I could imagine it being the perfect music while driving past a sunset.. especially with the help of some chemicals :D

Having gone through that I think it would be more suited for relaxing after a long drive. Especially if you went to a scenic place.

Seem to be experiencing some beautiful Spring weather, perfect time for a new BoC album to drop. Oh well.. there is always next time.

I find it hard to believe that Warp are completely in the dark about what BoC are up too. That's bullshit. There are contracts to be served and legal obligations. The Sandisons can't just dissapear into the ether for any amount of time they want to. WARP are their paymasters and I doubt almost a decade passes without Steve Beckett asking them what the fuck they are doing.

Sometimes I do believe there are legal wranglings going on with them. It's the only reason for all the neverending broken promises. A lot of us used to believe it was just BOC playing hard to get and being mysterious but I don't believe that at all anymore.

As long as Warp are making enough money (they are) and they're not spending any of it promoting BoC, they can pretty much wait forever on new BoC material. Only Mike and Marcus are under any pressure to make music; artistic pressure (need to make some music!) and financial (need to make some money!). First one, well they can make anything they like and not release it and scratch that itch. Second one, they've probably made enough in flogging the synchro rights to TV programs like Top Gear to keep them going. Or for flogging Mercs to wankers.

Don't you think lots of us wouldn't be here if they did keep us updated? The anticipation is addictive. I think it's in their interest not to say anything. And why say anything if you have nothing to say anyway?
