Holy F, the is one of my favorite movies of all time!! Oh, and not the bullshit Nick Cage version.

I finally saw Donnie Darko last weekend and it was fantastic. I loved the music and the 80's atmosphere and everything. Definitely a trip though. Had to get on the internet after the movie to try and see if other people shared some of my perceptions.

I'll probably buy it in the next couple of weeks.

Good call. I love the atmosphere of Donnie Darko...I've been dying to watch it for months since I lent my copy to a friend The music is excellent.

candyman. i went to philly with my girlfriend to watch it, they also played my bloody valentine (great movie). it was very scary, and philip glass provided a great soundtrack that made the movie seem very intense/creepy. it was one of those movies that kind of got burned into my mind.

I've been wondering whether to see My Bloody Valentine for a while now..cos of the band and all yknow...I always remember the cover art of the movie since I was younger..heh.

it's definitely worth a watch, but only if you're into old horror movies and that kind of stuff. otherwise, it's just another typical corny 80's horror movie where the bad guy just goes around and kills teenagers that are making out.

a japanese film called "the manual", based around a real book called the suicide manual. it all about different ways of killing yourself, and whats involved. sounds twisted, and it is, but it certainly had an impact on me.

I FINALLY saw The Life Aquatic tonight...it was awesome, I loved it..as I expected? Er..yes. Loved the Buckaroo Banzai thing at the end...anyone else know what I mean?

Ive yet to see Eraserhead but its on ze list..but check out Twin Peaks, its a dandy of a show (i have seen all the episodes though tbh)..the film is neat too...but a bit different from the TV, with more David Lynch weirdness. I enjoyed it anyhow.

Yeah, my friend is a huge fan of the series. He was telling me that they did some fucked up shit when they made the DVD collection. Like, they didn't add the pilot or last episode or something... and it's one of those shows you need to see every episode to understand.

the fountain is probarbly the greatest film I have seen or will see,science of sleep was real gud also
