Greetings everyone,
I figure I've spent enough time lurking and should actually start contributing to this forum...
I grew up with a small-town school library full of 1970's and '80's Canadian National Film Board VHS tapes, so the aesthetic of BoC definitely resonates with me.
Looking forward to meeting you all,
n.n.c.

Best. Library. Ever!
My local (public) library purged all VHS tapes from their system; they were sold off, piece-by-piece. Depressing.
Welcome to twoism, nnc. Looking forward to getting to know you

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
Best. Library. Ever!
I went to school throughout the 90's/early 00's; our school was underfunded, so all our materials were nearly 20 years out of date. Although I didn't have too much interest in the "vintage-ness" of the materials at the time, they left their mark.
I do remember watching some old film on manufacturing with a mid 70's synth soundtrack and exclaiming "This music is awesome!", much to the confusion of my classmates.
Of course, these days I'd be sampling and archiving them, if they hadn't been discarded years ago...

Hey, I'm David. I recenly got in to BoC, so I decided to join up here!
I'd also like to say that Geogaddi floors me each listen, the same way Loveless used to 3 years ago, and is really giving me a creative kick, same way Loveless did 3 years ago (although my forays in to the electronic sound much more Hi Scores than Geogaddi). The amount of work they put in to there music and the subliminal little details they sneak in is mind boggling.

Hello. I have been worshiping the Hexagon Sun since 2005 and figured it was high time that I join the forum. I am a musician, songwriter, and artist who has been active since 1994 under different pseudonyms and band names in multiple genres. I'm hoping to make a few friends, share some music and contribute to the BoC discussions and whatnot. -LXN

Hello, New People! And people who aren't so new, but are, in theory. Welcome!
