Wow. Just heard this new track in the low quality vid and I have to say its reminding me of 747. Strangely it really did have a dark quality yet also a positive uplifting quality like one of those vague reviews suggested. This is going to be really good. Kiiiinda can't contain myself now.

MHTRTC is probably my most listened to though. I've had it for like 14 years. That's almost half my life. Craziness.

Yeah, I agree with breadmaker too. Anything retro deserves to die, but the stuff he's done for BoC is maybe a bit different. I think it will be determined by what the album is like, so we'll have to wait and see: "tomorrow's harvest" might encompass both the socioeconomic catastrophe we're starting to suffer and the possibility of something new to surpass the present rot. But it might be just some 70's-80's apocalyptic crap, and that would be very disappointing.

A lot depends on the order the albums were bought in, I think - I bought Geogaddi first, then The Campfire Headphase. Later I was hearing everywhere that MHTRTC was their best album and when I bought it it was great, but definitely felt like an 'earlier' album, if that makes sense.
That blog post has a feel of 'yeah, I was in at the start when they were good, but I'm so much cooler now' hipsterness about it.

I'm on holiday so this is pretty inconvenient of BOC

. I was poolside with all day so missed the live event. The wifi here is pretty bad but I'll try and listen later.

Barkertrax went and said it was pretty special to be amongst the 50-60 people actually there, hearing it for the first time. There were a lot of recordings made so there might be more to come.

I've asked about the flyers.
