This is my least favorite part of joining a forum, my first few posts always feel awkward because I keep imagining more senior forum members looking and going "oh, they just joined to post that"

I'm from Nevada, USA and I'm a musician and a programmer. I've got a terrible personality

Hey, don't think I introduced myself but have been posting the last few days amid all the excitement.
Joined last year as I am really into BoC and Twoism seems like a cool place.
I'm from the UK as well, near the Scottish borders, currently taking a year out from uni.

^ welcome! We're a friendly bunch. Come in, grab a drink, have a sit down - snacks are over there, just help yourself.

Where in the Borders are you from?

Hello. I'm a man from far away Russia. Two weeks ago I made tattoo with hexagon sun and it's awesome :) And this rumors about new album one of the best things that I heard in this year.

Howdy! Long time BoC fan here.

Due to severe laziness I've never really engaged in much forum activity for anything, but having enjoyed mingling with fellow BoC'alites amid this treasure hunt, I thought I would sign up and get a little more involved.

I'm Male, from Manchester, UK.

Edit: Just in case you're wondering I did create this account ages ago, but never really used it, until now :)

long-time BoC fan here -- I actually got into music 'seriously' through 'intelligent dance music' superstars like aphex twin, boards of canada, autechre, squarepusher, mu-ziq, the future sound of london along with venetian snares and the flashbulb. needless to say boards of canada are their own genre/unclassifiable and i have deep respect for their sound, as it was part of why i got into music so heavily.

i love message boards and i dunno how many people from Collected Animals are on here but hello if you are here. all the recent development in the BoC world is so refreshing and exciting and i can't believe i haven't made an account here before.

hopefully i'll dig the vibe! looking forward to posting!

^ don't be scared! We're a friendly bunch.

Up until last week, 90% of the conversation here was non-BoC related, so it's safe to say pretty much whatever topic you want to hold forth on, you'll have a conversation on your hands :)

Hello everyone,

the name's Alex and, after lurking on and off the board for some time, I decided to join after the RSD incident.
Italian but living in Central Switzerland, electronic music aficionado (at least at 270 degrees, as there is stuff I cannot digest at all), enjoying making my own music in the less and less spare time I have.
Used to be a sound engineer and have a studio some 15 years ago, now it's just a serious hobby.

Currently active in the code hunting through the IRC channel, let's see what will be the outcome of all this :)
