March 24, 2011...

It's been over three weeks since the black square appeared, and an announcement is still nowhere in sight. People are starting to lose their minds. Snufkin's starting to think that background images in the midst of loading are a sign of life.

Zeitgeist recently informed us that he set up a followthatpage.com account in the meantime, pretty clever of him. Apparently the brothers are still tinkering with the website. "+ ˆ}v? + .–R¥aÈR¡Œ€¸ÊM¿ÈGET"

Me? I've been seeing the square in my dreams. Just last night I thought I finally had the album in my grasp, only to wake up empty handed. The smell of the plastic is still fresh in my mind... I never even got to open the case.

I think I'm beginning to go off the deep end myself, but six years is enough to drive anyone crazy. I just don't know how much longer we can last.

It seems that my brother may be a hexagon in disguise. I'll let you know when I have more information.

There's only one way to be sure.... CUT HIM OPEN AND SEE IF HE BECOMES TWO TRAPEZOIDS

note: if crazy, please see advice B*

advice B: actually don't do that, just be cool, maybe tell him hello but that's it.

I was sort of afraid a couple of minutes after I posted it that you would see it as a dig at you or something. It's not, at all.

When I was writing it I was just laughing at how desperate we all are for updates. I'm not one to ever joke about another person's misfortunes, so I apologize if you feel that way.

That's when we get the "apology update". It's a win win situation right now.

Yeah, I heard it was so damned brilliant they have to go back and dumb it down for mass consumption.

After years of succes the news came it wasn't them singing. They were playbacking on all (5?) previous performances while someone else was paid to record it all in the studio. The true performers on their records where prince william of England and George Michael but they both now found a descent and honest job at Burger King so now M&M had to figure out all the manuals of those old machines.
Most of the machinery seemed detuned and producing subtle flanges and they were taken to uncle jeffrey's to get them fixed.
Now the record they came up with seems to sound a lot like the music in the letter P in your average record stores 80's section (think paul young, paula abdul, poy george) the peoples at the warp office were unable to agree on the potential of succes and after the license manager did quit his job in anger they decided to keep it on the shelve. When they wanted to sent that mail to M&m about freezing the project, the undeliberatly sent the mail to plaid instead of boc, with all known consequences.

in the meantime in the batcave robin discovered a black square where there wasn't one before
