today marks two years since the box, right? how the time flies
I've only listened to this album maybe 20 times since it was released. It is so intense, I have to prepare myself for it.TaoTapeTao wrote:Upon listening to Geogaddi all the way through again for the billionth time I was reminded of the brothers' astounding attention to detail with all the tiny infinitesimal layers of texture and sound. So for them to take 8+ years to make a new album is a very good sign.
Sure, but so is thinking that they've been tinkering with an album for 8+ years. That's no more logical than saying that My Bloody Valentine's latest was a continuous 22 year creation.TaoTapeTao wrote:^This is entirely speculation (not the interview part obviously )on your part
My Bloody Valentine were doing other things (playing live) that kinda make up for the fact that it took them so long to release another album.Bryan wrote:Sure, but so is thinking that they've been tinkering with an album for 8+ years. I didn't say they were working on it for 8+ years necessarily but still they've been doing stuff on and off for that long I'm sure.Bryan wrote:Sure, but so is thinking that they've been tinkering with an album for 8+ years. Pull them in for a review meeting. They're clearly not working to your standards. Make it an official written warning: next time they're fired. It sounds like you'd enjoy the paperwork.Vostok wrote:My Bloody Valentine were doing other things (playing live) that kinda make up for the fact that it took them so long to release another album.Bryan wrote:Sure, but so is thinking that they've been tinkering with an album for 8+ years. Boards of Canada have done almost nothing (that we know of) in 7 years.
Or go Melissa Mayer on them (Yahoo) and tell them they have to come into the office instead of telecommuting.Waz wrote:Pull them in for a review meeting. They're clearly not working to your standards.
Whew! So glad we're not 10's of people, good to know!!!thepastinsidepressant wrote:NEWS NOW! or i'll post the Hexagon Studios exact co-ordinates to the entire world, 100s of people shall then descend upon you and capture the dandelions.
That's a Bibio teaser, apparently a 'bibio' is a type of fly fishing fly which you can see on the screen if the music isn't obvious enough.Lenomarvel wrote:Anyone Know Anything bout that? :
