Well this is a pity, but not too unexpected

.
While we're on the subject, does anyone know :
1) Is it possible to store additional non-audio data on an audio cd? I know there are audio cds that play fine in a cd player and open with an unusual splash screen menu type thing on a computer, so I suspect it's possible.
2) Would additional non-audio data have been picked up by the method described in the quoted post?
3) If not, does anyone know how we could check for this?
I'm still intrigued that I OVERFLOW MAN is on the cd and not on the vinyl. Some awesome theories have been put forward but I wonder if there isn't something extra on the cd (as I say, non-audio - perhaps just binary data that might be an image/compressed file/etc)
</conspiracy>
EDIT: I have the hardware and have the means of getting any necessary software, and also have the CD at hand, so I'm very happy to try this if someone can make suggestions on ways to check (or to shoot down the idea because it's already been checked for/isn't possible

)
