No. I have the japanese release, the TOC is the exact same as the one posted by Basefree

Ok, so much for logic, pff…!
I almost made sense for a minute there, eh?

Logically yes. Actually? No. If you've read through this thread or the other one (I OVERFLOW MAN), you will note that any/all hidden track theories have been debunked. Sorryyyy
EDIT - didn't see that bdzz had pointed that out for ya, must've happened while I was posting.

Well this is a pity, but not too unexpected

.
While we're on the subject, does anyone know :
1) Is it possible to store additional non-audio data on an audio cd? I know there are audio cds that play fine in a cd player and open with an unusual splash screen menu type thing on a computer, so I suspect it's possible.
2) Would additional non-audio data have been picked up by the method described in the quoted post?
3) If not, does anyone know how we could check for this?
I'm still intrigued that I OVERFLOW MAN is on the cd and not on the vinyl. Some awesome theories have been put forward but I wonder if there isn't something extra on the cd (as I say, non-audio - perhaps just binary data that might be an image/compressed file/etc)
</conspiracy>
EDIT: I have the hardware and have the means of getting any necessary software, and also have the CD at hand, so I'm very happy to try this if someone can make suggestions on ways to check (or to shoot down the idea because it's already been checked for/isn't possible

)

Not only it's possible, but there are standards for how to do that, so CDs will remain 100% compatible with traditional CD players, yet carry extra data readable by computers. In that case, the data isn't "hidden", though.
You can, though, violate the standards. But CDs that don't follow the Red Book standard won't be compatible with all CD players. This has been done before with "copy protected" CDs. In theory, at least, it
is possible to "hide" data in a CD, but in practice? I'm not sure. The data must be somehow indexed, so the reader knows it's there. EAC would most likely find those indexes and at least inform that the data exists.

this of reminds me of listening to 311's "Transistor" album (awesome album by the way). I remember when trying to fast forward or reverse I somehow found out there is like a 60 second intro *before* track 1. since there wasn't much at all on the internet in 1997 about things like this, I felt like I had discovered it myself. so awesome.

Yes, if there was any additional data it would have been displayed like this in the EAC window:
Right-clicking the disc open in Explorer only displays 17 cda files and the .ini file which is no different to any other disc, so that doesn't bring up anything special either.

Back to the drawing board, boys & girls. There must be bonus tracks. There needs to be. I need more of this beautiful album all up in my ear drums.

There's about 17 minutes of empty space on the CD, so it can't be this.

i just meant...meaningful minutes. the part that overflows flowed over the cd...off somewhere else.

Well it might be there hiding in plain sight... if it's in the form of a palimpsest, all that's needed to find and decode additional material is the key and procedure. It's a bit like steganography you can hide many things within audio files in digital format.

From the bocpages article for Transmisiones Ferox:
Starting at around 1:59 a slowed down female voice can be heard saying something resembling "There is others." This, when reversed sounds like "They're outside." This sample is repeated until the end of the track.
