Where did you get that info? Ann Arbor is 40 min. away from me. I should have it by now.
some of the people who received shipping notification emails from Bleep said that their records were shipped from Ann Arbor.

i went to Amoeba to get a second copy as i can't be depending on Bleep or USPS.
me and another BoC head were inspecting the 10 or so copies left looking for one that had the least damage. unfortunately nearly all the copies in the racks had little corner bends, damaged spines, the printer inner sleeves look to have lots of splits too. and these would have been sent in a batch. individual copies sent might look even worse, just putting it out there for those already annoyed with the delays, that there could be more frustration when they arrive.
fantastic!

Got my tracking info. Mine left Ann Arbor on the 10th (Monday) and it says it should be in my mailbox (in Ohio) when I arrive home today...

Shipping Times
CD and Vinyl purchases were dispatched last week. Whilst we hope these arrive with you for on or shortly after release date, transit times can vary.
I'm sure transit times can vary - but I'll tell you one thing, sending mail THE DAY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE is not the fault of the post offices!

ESPECIALLY if you send those mailings off the day before release, from the US to Canada (like me) can get held in customs for DAYS.

I also just realized, I had to contact bleep support because I never got a confirmation email of my order either.

I've got to say, this whole experience is really getting muddled and after being on such highs while being teased by the product, actually getting the damn thing is starting to ruin the whole experience for me.

EDIT: this is the reply I just got from bleep:
TE, Jun 12 18:43 (BST):
Hi there

I'm afraid we are not able to provide tracking for orders unless otherwise requested and paid for. This is because all our orders are shipped Royal Mail Standard Class. We do ask that you allow up to 28 days for orders to arrive from date of dispatch, which would have been the 5th of June. If your order has not arrived by then, please do let us know and we will be able to take further action.

Sincere apologies for the wait.

Bleep Support
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME???

If I have to wait 28 days (well 21 now) I'm going to seriously rage and make sure some emails/phone calls are had. This is TOTALLY unacceptable. We were told that North American orders were to be processed from the USA and would have tracking. If it's coming from the UK, then I was misled and I'll make sure they fucking know it!

Still waiting on my order here in the US. The tracking for this is a joke. It was shipped last Friday and the last status update ever was the package leaving Detroit on the 9th! That's three whole days with no status updates. Expected delivery was yesterday and the postman just left with nothing again today. Seriously, where is my bleepin vinyl? I've sent an email to both USPS and Bleep but I don't expect them to know anything. I was extremely let down by this.

just got my Bleep copy, packed very well and securely. the gatefold jacket is perfect, but i can see little tears in the printed inner sleeves, think i will use this as my play copy and keep amoeba copy as a back up.
can't believe people in UK or Ireland still haven't received it yet. i'm thousands of miles away from Bleep HQ and i have two copies, what in the wide world of sports have Bleep done?

be interesting to know, perhaps someone could call the pressing plant
also, wonder if the US got theirs pressed over there which could mean difference in sound?

oh lordy, but nah i'm pretty sure they pressed way more than TCH this time. i recall not seeing much of that album in stores for very long, then you had to order it online or second hand as the months went on. Geogaddi was even more scarce. i think a lot of us have stocked up this time, hope bleep delivers these things pristine. hearing nasty stories coming in now. shipping things separate as well :?

Even though I've been sounding off, I almost hope it doesn't arrive today - they are calling for severe thunderstorms (even tornadoes!) in my area....don't need the vinyl sitting out in that!

I just want to add my experience to this thread:

It wasn't until just today, the day AFTER the U.S. release date, that I finally got my shipping notification email. The email says that the shipment originated in Ann Arbor, and that I won't be receiving it until TOMORROW.

The real kicker? I live in Ann Arbor.

On top of that, my friend in Austin, TX received his shipment, which also originated in Ann Arbor, yesterday.

Talk about disappointment.
