I wouldn't be the biggest Aphex Twin fan, but Girl/Boy is still incredible every time I hear it.

See, the discussion in this thread is what I like about Aphex, he's been all over the place so there's at least ONE song for everyone.
You're gonna carry that weight.

In my ears, #19 is also probably the best song of all time (or tune if someone wants to be anal). Not a definite answer, but I've been feeling that way for some time and would pick it if I was to choose just one.

I will never grow to like #15 though. I've heard it over a hundred times and it's still as pointless as on the first listen. But this is quite interesting: #19 and #15 combined. Sounds amazing! The attachment is still there if you have an account & want to hear it. Not sure if it's legit, but I think so - the video has tape hiss and there's also some weird sound at the beginning which isn't on either of these tracks.

He's like a gift that keeps giving, for me. There are tons of vinyl only or extra tracks that I missed the first time around. I loved analord for years, then was pleasantly surprised to find I hadn't heard all of it. And I don't think I found 19/stone in focus until a few years ago. That might be the best meditative song I've ever heard. I don't think I'll ever have it all and I kind of like that. There's always something new waiting to be found.

I never had a love for Drukqs until this year. My MIDI class teacher played tracks like Vordhosbn and Avril 14th and then I started listening to it again, appreciate it a lot now. Would DIE to see him live. Fingers crossed he drops a new album soon.

I managed to slip backstage and sit a matter of feet away from him while he DJ'd at The Glade years ago - I was even given free red stripes as they thought I was part of the crew :D - good times!!!!

Aphex Twin is one person, and it is not too far fetched to consider that he is right up there with Boards of Canada. Richard D. James is a legend and his Polygon Window release is evidently a major influence to BoC.

How? I wouldn't be able to make the connection, tbh.

true, Aphex is more popular than BoC. I do wonder what his influence on the electronic scene is in comparison to BoC.

Bought this one this week. Still one copy left!

I slowed down Flim with CEP and raised the pitch so it still sounds quality. The result lets you appreciate the awesome percussion even more:
