Listen to A08, and then closely to the beginning of B09. It's new to me, at least.

EDIT: Never mind, I guess I forgot that A09 and B09 both start as the same track before B09 becomes something else! That's what I get for listening to R35TT out of order! I love the editing job on this tape.

I really REALLY wish I had the titles of those tracks, I swear.

I love this idea for a thread but I haven't read any of it I'm pretty new to BOC so this is more of tag for several years time when I've had the chance to discover some of the hidden beauty for myself without outside influence from the very start. Hope the site is still around then!

I have experienced this a hell of a lot with another artists though, one in particular being Flying Lotus. I'm still finding new nuances on Los Angeles having listened to it consistently from when it was released in 2008 to this day. things like that really help me to fall back in love with music.[/i]

a knocking sound on You Could Feel The Sky...or is mine a bad copy? to explain it better it is nothing constant but in the latter half where the beat with this rope like sound vanishes theres like every start of the bar its like *knock* 2 3 4 *knock*
like something a music teacher might to to count along

That backward percussion throughout the first half Kid For Today drives me insane, I can't focus on anything but those reversed sounds. Can't believe i've never paid attention to it on my old headphones!

I also wonder what's that vocal sample at around 4:54. Anyone tried to clear it out a bit?

Some of the percussion in Chromakey Dreamcoat is the sound of a train on the tracks. The section starting 1:32. It falls either side of the "3" beat.

How is that after 12 years of listening to this record - cd, vinyl, mp3, headphones, speakers - I've never noticed it until this morning? Was actually convinced it was something physically wrong with my ipod until I plugged my turntable on and checked the vinyl too. Still there. Totally obvious and annoying as hell once you notice it - ruining the track for me - ARGH!!

Haha that sounds like some jazz brushes, how annoying. The way in which this is so obvious, but only after you actually listen for it, reminds me of when I discovered the ringing bell sound in Bob Marley's - Jammin' (go listen to it I dare you)

Hmmmm. Do I want to ruin two perfectly good tracks in one day?

The chimes during the last half of Sunshine Recorder are a recent discovery of mine.

I've had Geogaddi since it was released but only noticed a certain sample in A is to B as B is to C around 5 years ago. Just before the counting starts, you can hear a woman saying (I think) "I had a very special dream". I was listening on headphones one day and wasn't really concentrating on what I was listening to when I noticed the sample for the first time.

Something from this old Michael Brook track presses a Campfire Headphase button in my head but I'm not exactly sure what...

There's a bit of slow this bird in the intro.

The rest of the track is so peacock tail. Definitely see why it made you think of campfire.
