Well, I tried emailing Magic Window to ask if it takes bookings for parties. I've heard absolutely nothing.

On a positive note, I also emailed telegraph lines and fortunately I heard from them pretty much straight away.

I sent the Corinthians several letters.

Nothing.

That is until they eventually wrote back saying we know it's you Peter.

Here's me refloating this old thread in which everyone mocked me. I was just thinking, would it be possible for the vocal sample of this track to have been a recording made by the bros themselves? It's not impossible to think the context of her meeting with them was for a recorded interview? I think it's weird to think nobody found the source yet.

I'm also thinking that the recording of a branch Davidian giving an interview (via telephone it seems) in Poppy Seed might have been obtained through their meeting with some of them. I am in somewhat of a state of awe to the extent that BoC went to the lengths they did to gather background and context for their tracks relating to the subject.

This raises the question: who is Edward and why does he know so much about the quantities of destructive cults?

I think it's a guy called Edward Breschel, a researcher that has written some books on cults in America.

Haha - I don't think anybody was mocking, there's just not much to contribute. You're awesome for reaching out to her..this is one of this forum's best threads, I think, because her response adds a nice layer to the song when I listen to it now.

Would not surprise me at all if they recorded an interview and used it.

Agreed! Mad respect, Radiobuzz. This is quite cool, I'm glad this thread got necro'd/revived or I wouldn't have seen it. :D

I'm refloating this because I've just read this post from a Reddit user (Elixer28) with more info on this:

To me, this somehow reaffirms my theory about that sample being from a recording they did themselves when meeting Amo.
