Brazilian here.

The team was just getting weak, right after Neymar was injured. Today, the team proved that they get weak even before the thickest situations. I mean, after those first 2 goals, everybody just got nervous, like if they forgot what the fuck they were supposed to do in there. And then, in between seconds, goals. And goals, and goals, and goals...

Never laugh so hard in my whole life. I don't even know what to say, really.

But Germany will win this shit, I bet it. And Germany was like Brazil taking off those other teams, and Brazil was acting like these other teams.

My desire to see a Germany/Holland final may actually come to fruition..

Not blaming only him, but, David Luiz just get out of position after 1-0 and 10 min, totally panic, and felt like a stricker saving the nation upfront,..... nonsense...

Did that game seem similar to the 98 finals loss to France to anyone else? Same thing, France got an early goal off a header and lazy marking by Brazil. Almost like they weren't even trying….

I said that earlier while I was watching the game (no one else was there but I said it out loud anyway lol). After that fantastic header by Zidane next to Leonardo in '98 the game was over for Brazil and France were national heroes on home turf. That said today was an entirely new level of bloodbath though...and it was so entertaining to watch!

I heard a rumor back in 98 that Brazil were paid off to throw the game against France. It looked like that was what took place out there today, like they were not even trying.

I don't know anything about bribing in '98 but anything is possible with professional sport. Brazil were simply terrible today. I couldn't believe there were equal numbers of players on both sides because it always looked like 11 Germans to about 8 or 9 Brazilians...

I am Brazilian and I haven't even been watching the games. But I noticed that things went too quiet in my neighbourhood, and when I saw it was 4x0 -- oh, wait, 5x0! -- I just had to watch the rest. I just love watching our football crumble; people have this arrogant sense of entitlement, that we are unarguably the best and that the victory is a civil duty, not a matter of sports. I love watching that come to bits. Football in Brazil is bigger even than a religion, and I'm hoping a cold shower like that might wake people up a little bit. This World Cup had an anesthetising effect in the people in general, and yet, shortly after the defeat, people were burning Brazilian flags. It's ridiculous, this needs to stop.

And for added insult, I'm really hoping Argentina gets to the finals today. People are still counting on Brazil defeating them for the 3rd spot, and it would be hilarious if even that chance disappeared.

Argentina looked tight in last game with Belgium, don't think we gonna see that much goals like yesterday, lol, excited about the game ! ARG-GER would be classic

No way! Brazil vs Argentina is the same as Germany - Netherlands in terms of rivalry. Also I'm Dutch so that makes sense me wanting them to get to the finals?
