How does this keep happening? I hope it never stops.
I want to say this is extremely likely...Redd Panderson wrote:Just want to point out re: the 8:13 track here. That could be Breach Tones on Catalog 3:AuHr wrote:When I went to the reddit thread being discussed, there's still someone's shared folder where they saved some uploads from that time. Just three files but they don't match the three now at rareboc. There is no Echus.
Now that I've learned more of the original context, the unique track in this folder sounds like it was the OP [deleted] recording their CD through their home speaker. It is the beginning 3:25 of ATP 2... Correct me if I'm wrong... https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... VQJhTeFrfM

How is our guy doing? I hope he didn't freak out too much for what happened and that his father wasn't too angry at him.scherdichnich wrote:yes I am in touch.
2026 (if we slightly cheat and extend it into christmas 2025) is just the year of boc at this pointouthudd wrote:I think this makes four independent new leaks over the past 6 months or so:
- The Old Tunes tapes
- The "Some Old Tunes" CD quality copy of 11 Old Tunes tracks
- Terekhova's MiniDisc find with tracks 5-12 of ATP
- This ATP soundboard leak of tracks 1, 3, 7
All seemingly coincidentally in the same year as new BoC release.
Maybe some gear-heads here might know if ATP07 sounds like it could have been made as early as 1987. Those sounds around 7min sound much later to me, but might be wrong. I think it's more likely it's from closer to 2001.mangoduck wrote:I want to say this is extremely likely...Redd Panderson wrote:Just want to point out re: the 8:13 track here. Don't forget about CDQ Red Moss and Whitewater.outhudd wrote:I think this makes four independent new leaks over the past 6 months or so:

Sounds like a super short sample loop time on a sampler, being slightly scrubbed. Akai S900 came out in 86? Not the only sampler either, they were running a Casio FZ1 back then, in fact didn't they have one on stage at ATP? I dunno if that can do the same trick, I know the Akais can, I had a 950 from a few years later and that definitely could.outhudd wrote: Maybe some gear-heads here might know if ATP07 sounds like it could have been made as early as 1987. It could be possible since they redid the website during that time, maybe they will be in a higher quality. From what I know, there were only 8 webloops on the 2001 website; in that folder there are another 5 tracks which could be outtakes or something else.outhudd wrote:Some of the "Misc Lost Tracks 2001" files from the CD seem quite short, I wonder could some be the webloops?
The soundboard files are variable bitrate (between ~130k and 191k, so it's not possible to derive an exact track length just from the filesizes in the screenshot)
