The voice in this song is stuck in my head. But like...the standout part that's stuck in my head is just the timbral quality of the voice? I'm tremendously impressed by how uncanny it is; it's got that film grain quality to it yet it's hyperreal sounding at the same time. Like each time it appears, it comes in with the strident yet wobbly light of a film before sliding away. Hard to describe. I don't know if I've ever heard a voice quite like that in a song before. I get that same feeling! Those distorted vocals represent demons or evil spirits mocking the human voices or internal demonic monologue (like you said), but in the song, they also work so well as embellishments. Fascinating track!

If you listen to the conversation between the father and son from The Jesus Trip movie, the son’s voice naturally sounds uncanny.

For sure. If you put it in a vacuum its wild to think how much the world has changed since their last release.

This song is such a blessing for everyone who fell in love with Doseone, Why?, and Odd Nosdam’s music as much as they did.

where should I upload some audio? I stripped the "vocals" out of this track using Serato Sample, hoping it could clarify some of the unintelligible speech

it didn't help me figure anything out, but there's definitely some chopped up/backwards woman's voice in there. i reversed it, but that didn't help either

someone else mentioned hearing "the Alpha and the Omega" in there towards the end. i totally hear that as well. i was happy to hear someone mention it because i thought i was nuts

Theres this one little female vocal in there ath (TO ME) sounds like Liz Fraser. Am I insane?

They sound about the same as they do in the full mix to me. I think they're just incoherent glitches.

There's a face on page 7 of the deluxe edition booklet that looks like the father in the source video. Not quite though and not from the video.
